The impact of globalization is generating economic, environmental and ethnic problems that are too complex and interconnected to be solved on an adversarial basis.  The most effective and long-lasting solutions to problems are based on a whole-systems, integral approach that includes the different values and different stages of development of all the stakeholders in a conflict.
